Hello! This is Alex Wermeling. I am currently a Junior at Henry Clay High school. Everyone says that this is the hardest years of life, but you do not really understand this until you are in the middle of it. With half of my classes being AP and playing on two varsity sports, I will have my work cut out for me this year! After I finish high school, I would like to attend the University of Notre Dame (like my mom did) and hopefully make it into Medical School to become a surgeon. To answer the question "what peek's my geek," I would have to say the best T.V. show in the world....Grey's Anatomy. Having seen every episode at least two times, I could tell you in detail what happens in all six seasons. However, I am rather depressed that the new season has not started yet and the re-runs of the episodes have been moved from 4 to 7 after school to 1 to 4 during school, meaning I can no longer watch it while doing homework :( Oh well, I guess I will wait until the new season comes out. My favorite characters in Grey's Anatomy are probably Kristina and Derrick because they are hard core surgeons and very competitive (just like me haha). I hope I can be as good of a surgeon as they are (on the pretend show).
Ok enough about Grey's Anatomy. My summer started out very, very, very well. The first thing I did was receive my license :). I know this is exciting stuff. So I guess with becoming a Junior there are some benefits, such as being able to drive yourself anywhere you want now. In this case, I drove to tennis practice from 10 to 12 and then drove to diving pratice at UK from 1 to 4. I was pretty busy with sports but i still made lots of time for friends. However, my summer quickly came to an end after Young Life camp in the middle of July. I had a mountain of homework to do and fewer summer days. Overall, this was one of the best summers because of the new freedom to be with friends all the time. I am excited for this school year because although it may be the hardest, I believe it will be the most fun as well. I hope everyone has learned about what I did this summer and my interests.
My favorite website ( I do not really have one... so this is the only I could think of):
