Hey it's Ginny! As I'm sure Jenny Lee has pointed out to you many times, my name is pronounced GINny and not JENny. However, I generally respond to both and don't notice the difference too much. Since this is my junior year I've been thinking a lot about where I want to go to college and what I want to do. Honestly I'm not sure, but I have some general ideas. I'm really interested in art and I'm thinking about pursuing a career in architecture or graphic design. This would also explain how you're extremely likely to see me doodling during class. In addition to those careers I'm also interested in engineering and I find certain fields of it very interesting. For this school year I'm really hoping I can keep up a 4.0. I think it'll be difficult, but I really hope I can do it. I also am pretty stressed about the SAT and the ACT and I am hoping for the best on that too. I'm willing to work hard for all of that and I think I can do it.
One of my favorite things to do is travel. I've been very lucky to have had the opportunities to go to the places I've gone to. These vacations have probably been some of my most life-changing experiences. I have been all over Europe and the U.S. and I've seen some of the most amazing things that completely change my views of the world. It's so much bigger than I would've have ever imagined. When you're surrounded by people speaking a different language you realize how many people there are, how different cultures are, and how far away from home you are. I've also seen so many things that I would've thought only possible in dreams. Over spring break I visited Paris, France and I think that was such a monumental experience. I enjoyed the trip so much and I saw so much art that has inspired projects in my classes.
P.S. Sorry, I couldn't figure out how to attach a video to the post.
