Hey Mr. Logsdon, this is Dylan Gilley, even though my display name says that. I just realized that I might have spelled your name wrong, and if so I'm sorry! One thing you should know about me, before I begin, is that I am lousy with technology, so if I screw something up on here, that's why. If I'm using technology, I'm probably on http://www.facebook.com/.
Anyways, one huge goal of mine is to be accepted into and go to the United States Air Force Academy. In my mind, it is one of the most prestigous colleges in the nation, as well as being apart of a rigid and structured system (the military). I want to be an aerospace engineer, due to my infatuation with airplanes, helicopters, and really any big engineering feet.
My largest struggle, academically that is, is procrastanation. I am actually very surprised I am writing this post at the time I am; not 10 minutes before it's due. It has led to bad grades in the past, so working hard and managing my time are areas in which I try to improve on.
Over the summer, I went to Atlanta, Georgia with my youth group at church to do mission work (and no, it wasn't all just building houses; many people think that). It was a really eye-opening experience into other people's lives. I never realized that all some people want is a friendly hello, even if you can't put a couple of coins into there open hands.
Well, it seems as though I have gotten very personal, so now seems as good a time as any to end it here before you learn all my inner most thoughts! hahaha ... bye.
