Mithra Muthukrishnan (last name pronounced the way its spelled)

My name is Mithra, M-I-T-H-R-A, not Mirth, not Murt, and not Mirtha. And if you call me anything other than Mithra on purpose I do get angry. Posting my post on this blog is a major accomplishment because the only thing with technology I know how to do is work Microsoft Word, and get onto Facebook and email, which leads me into my first goal, I want to be more accepting of technology, or at least be able to do more with it. I also want to get my permit before I turn 17, which is in about three months. Yes, I still haven’t gotten my permit. I hope to maintain good grades, not sleep as much; I slept quite a bit last year, which meant doing homework in other classes and at lunch. I want to get into an amazing medical college and become a great doctor, if I can make it past the ACT and SAT. This past summer I got the chance to go to UCLA and spend a week there with 400 other kids from around the world and listen to guest speakers of huge corporate and non- profit organizations which really impacted me, because I now plan to start my own non-profit. The picture is of my hands after six hours of sitting still to put the henna on and then another eight hours of waiting for it to dry and the dye to settle onto my skin. It was from my trip to India freshmen year. My favorite website would have to be www.google.com I really don’t use the Internet all that much.
