Without TV, there would be no Adventure Time. That is not the world I want to live in. Adventure Time is my current favorite show, with Penn and Teller: Bullshit! coming in second. Adventure Time is so math, and I love its humor. I can't help but laugh at pixies who threaten to destroy old ladies if one looked sad, or the subconscious of a dog telling him to wear a fancy hat instead of swimming across a river. But that's the only show I really watch on TV. My DVR may be full of it, but I use the internet to watch my true favorite shows that have been cancelled. Those favorites are Arrested Development and Freaks and Geeks. I still wonder why they don't dominate primetime, but I shouldn't complain. It's all there on the internet for free. And I can watch them at the same place because of my setup. And the best part? No ads. I really don't think that advertisements are all that bad anyway, but this is coming from someone who constantly fast forwards through them or doesn't even experience them through the internet. Sure, they can be obnoxious, and at times depressing (animal shelter puppies), but you can do so much to get rid of them. The mute button used to be my favorite button just for that. Besides, ads are in more places than just TV.
That's like math, bro.
