My Tele Classifications

I have three classifications for the shows I watch. Level 3 includes the rare thought "I have some extra time, I wonder what’s on/been recorded on TiVo..." This includes My Boys and Bones. I'm not going to wait for these to come on, but when I have some spare time, I don't mind laughing with PJ and the gang in My Boys and trying to solve a murder mystery (with very fake graphics-in my opinion) in Bones.

I have a higher appreciation for my Level 2 shows: Friends and Arrested Development. They’d be in Level 1 if they were still aired. Friends is, well, a classic. And Arrested Development, I think, is true comedy and an immediate mood booster; the characters are so likeable and distinct. It's a shame it's not on anymore...

Finally, Level 1: The Office and 30 Rock. The Office used to be my favorite TV show, but it’s really gone downhill since Jim and Pam's wedding. The past shows have been boring, anticlimactic, and worthy of nothing more than a chuckle. 30 Rock is now number 1. What's great is each episode is genuinely funny and it's not always a continuous story that drags on into multiple episodes. The show presents new, funny, and entertaining story lines each week.

Though I love my Level 1’s, I rarely stay up to watch them. The commercials are so annoying and not worth my time. So, I usually TiVo them, wake up early the next morning and watch them before school. That's a big hassle for a 20-minute show... Anyway, I'm more of a movie girl.
