No Shawn Spencer?!
What would you do if there were no Shawn Spencer and Burton Gustor to solve the murders? What would fuel our interest for action without Agent Gibbs and his group? Who would make our families feel normal without the Modern Family cast? TV, as with any thing, can be an amazing thing if you don't watch it excessively. It can be a way to relieve stress after a long day's work, or a way to just turn off your brain after it's been put into overdrive. Television, in the earlier days, when Seinfeld and Who's the Boss, and The Nanny came on offered one genre: Comedy. And with this, it made people laugh, it made people relax, it also offered a lot less commercial. Now days, with all the sound systems, and technologies, TV has resulted in companies paying millions of dollars to advertise in specific time slots, and more ads or being shown than the actual television show. It's become a way to sell a product rather than tell a story. Sometimes, ads or purposefully played louder than the actual show as well to make them seem clearer, or heard more. It's important to limit our kids to the exposure of television, but not to completely withdraw them from television. Even though kids may see one or two violent acts on TV, they aren't going to turn into serial killers or bullies. TV networks should work on limiting commercials if they want a greater number of viewers.
